Hi again,
As a Postscript to my original reply.
You spoke of the low level of interference?
Well actually there were more than half a dozen computers and God only knows
what else powered up and working at the time so receiving that signal as well
as I did was quite astounding.
I had to navigate
Hello Howard and list: I think I have somewhat solved my problem: last night,
I played around with the system volume on my computer! I first jacked it on up
to a hundred percent! This, of course (while it far from made the light on the
transmitter flicker) it just caused all kinds of

That seems like quite a strong signal for that distance. The other observation
I have is that you seem to have a fairly low interference environment, not
noticeable digital noise. I have a lot of trouble here with digital noise from

This isn’t at all bad given that Waggin is 2100 miles away from me. The 558KHZ
frequency is swamped by around 10 other stations nation wide and I had to
carefully locate the CC 2E so as to avoid interference from stronger signals
150 miles away. Anyway see what you think.
Tom, I don't know about the volume control on the keyboard. I've never
seen that. However, I suspect that that control actually operates the
software volume control in the system.

Sorry to hear that.
If I do get some time then I’ll do a demo of the bluetooth unit I have with my
Android phone.

Dane,
Looks like it does not speak the range that is selected. Since I rarely
take mine off of DC volts its not much of a concern. I will probably
record a pen friend label listing all of the other ranges in order but I
don't expect to use them much except for perhaps capacitance and
