I used the internal microphones of the recorder covered with a Gutman
Windscreen.
My only small complaint with the S-14 is the small amount of hiss you get in
your recordings so the LS-P4 is the better recorder in that regard.

Ah doesn't surprise me the sound on that unit is one of my favorites. Did
you just use internal mics or others?
As I said I appreciated hearing the different patterns of your dove calls as
compared with our mourning doves here.
