i believe that DB poweramp may do this, or, WidsMob Converter.
There amy even be an m4p converter in itunes, I've seen reference to it,
but never found it. Mind you Itunes can be a nasty little programme to
get round.

It may be worth checking that winamp is the default player for audio.
1. press windows key and x.
2. cursor up to apps and features, press enter.
3. you may need to shift tab once, to the list, and arrow down to
default apps, and press enter.
4. tab three times, to default music player,

I recall that the opus encoding is used, which is nice quality. DFon't
have the technical specs though.
You'll need to use google chrome, as at this time there is no extention
for alternate browsers.

If these are mp3's, and you want to make a disk with mp3 files, then
they should fit. If you want to make a generic audio cd, and the mp3's
are converted in to the format for audio cd's then use 80 minutes, 800
Mb disks, and you should still be good.

In the view menu. It should be checked.
There is a mute option, in the edit menu, I think the keystroke is
control-0, might this help?
