Not only can I not save on a SMB network drive I cant even open files from that drive. The program gives an I/O error but saves a 0kb .odt file. It is not a problem with one or the other component write, calc and impress all do the same. I am pretty sure it is not a problem with the OS (Mac OSX 10.4) since my neooffice/j and M$ office opens them fine and saves them too.
