Type some text in a new cell and "HOpeless" as the last word (!), press RETURN or click to some other cell to have the auto-correction kick in 2. Press CTRL-Z and the whole cell gets undone. If you type some other character (space bar etc.) after the auto-corrected word, you'll be able to undo the auto-correction without get the whole input undone.
