a) I notice that the problem is worse if ViewColumn and Row Headers is checked.

If I turn on 'Use Printer Metrics for Textformatting' it changes the problem so

If a bitmap is added to a worksheet manually through the UI
(importpicturefrom file) or programatically, it is distorted by being
stretched vertically
