User bh changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Assigned to|bh |requirements -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from b...@openoffice.org Fri May 21 13:47:32 +0000 2010 ------- To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements". ------- Additional comments from do...@openoffice.org Mon Oct 4 13:20:17 +0000 2010 ------- There are practical workarounds to this limitation, ie, splitting the file into smaller files with fewer sheets, etc. That being said, it is difficult to convince the older denizens of some nonprofit organizations to change their file structures since their response is something like, "I didn't have to do that with Excel. Why do you want to switch us to OpenOffice again?" Some people like to have a spreadsheet with one sheet per day of the year. That's more than 100 sheets over this hard-coded limitation. It would be nice to hit a memory limit before hitting an arbitrary limit in the program. I have voted this up, as I feel this is a necessary improvement to help OpenOffice.org compete with Microsoft Office.
