------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 20 16:22:39 +0000 2007 ------- As another comment said, I think Writer's anemic handling of editing/reviewing functions is a dealbreaker for me at this point. I'm a professional copy editor, and I rely heavily on the sophisticated copyediting functionality of MS Word. Writer is 10 years behind Word in this regard. In addition to the other enhancements suggested, I would like to have the ability to (1) delete all notes/comments in a text (without necessarily deleting all the recorded changes); (2) show/don't show comments/notes by user; (3) show comments/notes without displaying recorded changes; (4) show recorded changes without displaying comments/notes; (5) "anchor" comment to a phrase/block of text rather than as single insertion point (I often attach an author query to a word, sentence, or even paragraph to indicate "this is the word/phrase/sentence/paragraph I am talking about." I'll see if I can produce a screenshot to show what I mean. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
