------- Additional comments from elyp...@openoffice.org Sun May 16 10:15:06 +0000 2010 ------- in the dictionaries.xcu of a spellchecking extension you have to give a locale string: <prop oor:name="Locales" oor:type="oor:string-list"> <value>thereitshouldbe</value> </prop> the problem is, that you can only choose a language that is already in the hardcoded list of OO. I suggest an option to a define an own locale in the dictionaries.xcu And if no locale is defined OO should add an entry named by the given locale-string. there are 6000 languages, so i think it is worth providing a possibility to make spellcheckers for them. Btw: Spellcheckers are an important instrument for preserving endangered languages.
