I use a concordance file to generate an alphabetical index. Removing lines (=entries) from the concordance file and updating the index does NOT lead to removal of those entries from the alphabetical index in the text. I.e. adding lines to a concordance file is reflected by "update index", removing lines is not. To delete those entries one has to manually delete them using EDIT->INDEX ENTRY. With several hundred words flagged as index entry this is unfeasable. Solution: 1) If a concordance file is the basis for the index, delete all entries by default before update 2) In the EDIT->INDEX ENTRY dialog allow for "DELETE ALL ENTRIES" --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
