------- Additional comments from hum...@openoffice.org Sat Nov 7 16:25:10 +0000 2009 ------- OpenOffice version: OOo 3.1.1 000310m19 Build: 9420 OS: Ubuntu 9.10 Hardware: Dell D620 laptop 4Gb memory When opening or creating a document in writer which has many images, Writer will stop responding for anywhere between 20 seconds to hanging the machine completely. At this time OOo is using 100 percent of the CPU. I have tried creating a document with no images in it at all and can put as much text as I want without the hanging.
