------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 21 07:30:54 +0000 2008 ------- Hi, On Mac OS X Tiger (10.4), running `/Applications/OpenOffice.org.app/Contents/MacOS/soffice' from Terminal.app does not bring the menubar and the icon of the application in the dock. The OOo Writer window shows up, the window is correctly focused, but the menubar remains the one from Terminal.app, and when I type something, the characters appears in Terminal.app. Hitting Cmd+Q terminate Terminal.app and not OpenOffice.org. It looks like the graphical interface is not correctly initialized when run from command line. I tried running this on OS X Leopard (10.5), and the interface shows up correctly, with the menubar, the dock icon, and keyboard input is correctly catched by OpenOffice.org So, this seems to only happens on OS X Tiger (10.4).
