Whenever I'm in the Writer (haven't tried any other apps yet, will get to it if
needed) I can't change what's currently playing in Windows Media Player with the
physical play/pause/etc buttons on my laptop, including volume controls. I can
do that fine in any other program (for example, I just changed the song in
Firefox while writing this). It impedes me a bit because I do a lot of essay
writing, and it's nice to have my music too :). 

I'm running Window 7, but this was a problem even before I upgraded. Not sure if
it's because Open Office is Java based? We'll see, eh?
