I want to use a new OpenOffice Calc Object inside a writer document to hold
billing positions well formatted. The table should fit the full width of my page
and the columns should have a fixed width.

See the following steps after you opened a new writer document:

Step 1:
Write some Text as you need in your document

Step 2:
Insert a Spreadsheet (OpenOffice Calc) as OLE-Object

Step 3:
Move it left to align it with your text

Step 4:
Edit the Ole-Object by double clicking it

Step 5:
Format the Table to show Borderlines for all cells you want to see in your
document(e.g. Column A to E and 4 rows)

Step 6:
Insert some data and formattings into the cells (billing positions, coloring
etc.)

Step 7:
Size the last column (e.g column E), so it would align later to the right of the
page. (I use this to make bills, the table holds the order positions and i want
to have a table which fits the width of my page)

Step 8:
Now size the active Ole-Frame to show the last column. As you can see the
tablecolumns are resized!

Step 9:
Click outside the table to leave the edit mode. You see, the last column does
not right align as expected

Step 10: each time you now enter the table (see Step 4) and click on the right
OLE frame to start sizing (you do not move, so you do NO resize) it will resize
the columns, so you must resize them to fit.

Step 11: each time you do a resize (width is changed) of the OLE-Object the
columns are resized and your work is lost. It does not matter wheter you grow or
shrink your OLE-object.

In OpenOffice 1.1.5 the OLE-Handling was OK.
