I've tested this in Writer, Calc and Impress.

Create a template and make a macro in a library belonging to the template,
Standard for example. The macro can be quite simple (even 

sub Main

end sub

works, but maybe put a msgbox in there to see that it runs at least once.)

Now assign that macro to the Create Document event. Save your template.

Create a new document using this template (File/New/Templates & Documents, go
find your template and open it.)

The FIRST time you do this the new document is created, the macro runs & all
seems well. Now create another document with this template (File/New... etc)

This time (and all subsequent until OOo is closed) an error is thrown:

"com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeExceptionScriptProtocolHandler::createScriptProvider(),"

and thats all I can see. The macro doesn't run.

Templates created in v2.0 cause the error in 2.01 also.

This error doesn't occur at all in v2.0
