+0000 2011 -------
Introduction
------------
I wrote about 2000 pages including about 4000 pictures.

The problem
-----------
1/
I created (with a very recent version 2009/2010) several books each containing
hundreds of pictures. I use the link to their filenames to insert the pictures.

The filenames in the (old) document looks like :

file:///My Photos JPG/2010-00-jpg/...jpg

2/
I recently upgraded to OO 3.2.1

3/
Now OO cannot display the image because the filenaming rules has been changed.

Now OO321 is using filenames which look like
file:///C:/My Photos JPG/2010-00-jpg/...jpg

The difference between
file:///My Photos JPG/2010-00-jpg/...jpg
and
file:///C:/My Photos JPG/2010-00-jpg/...jpg (WITH THE DISK NAME)

is that "C:/" is now recorded just after file:///

What I ask
----------
A workaround to update 2000 filenames into the links of the existing documents
(I can of course come back to an old version but I would not like remain using
an old version forever)

What I can do
-------------
I was software designer/developer (Windows/VisualC++). So I can perform testing
and test, in connection with the developer of OO.

Note to the designer
--------------------
It is MANDATORY to be able to move the documents from one disk to another having
the same RELATIVE directory structure.

If the document is created on disk "N:" and it is move to another computer with
no disk N, it MUST retrieve the files on its own file system.

Either the disk name is not recorded in the file (as in previous version) either
the DISK NAME IS UPDATED while opening the documents.

Congratulation for your work !
And Happy New Year :-)

Thank you in advance for your help
