Possibly, something like having a default of the top N most frequently used fonts (if such user data is available) in the list until the user's own used fonts replace them? Also, just in case this wasn't mentioned nor solved in the "last five fonts" discussion, I imagine a way for users to easily choose new fonts not in the short list would become a requirement?
