It alows for using formulas such as "=IF(OR((LEN(D6)=7),(LEN(D6)=6)),D6,0)". This gives added felxability to data validation. I use this in a spreadsheet to verify the length of the number entered. It is not available in OOo 2.4.1 or 3.0 Beta 2 unless it is located somewhere else within the application. Just wanted to let you know. (I want to be able to use and recommend Linux so I can throw out MS. Your project is going a long way to make that happen. A great big THANKS!)
