I use the OpenOffice API for Java to electronically sign documents. I had some crashing issues with OpenOffice 2.0 and 2.4, so I changed to 3.2.1 which has worked without any issues, except someone pointed out to me that the headers and footers are being deleted. According to the issue activity information, it was initially reported on January 11, 2006.
