Task Manager states it is running, but I get nothing, and I cannot click on the application. It simply stops responding. I have to kill the application using Task Manager, then, when I try to re-open the document, I get the recovery process. Even after successfully recovering my document/spreadsheet, it still gives the same lock-up, when accessing the Properties option. I have rebooted my PC, I've tried new documents, but I get the same problem, consistently. I removed, then re-installed, OOo, but I still have the same problem. I can minimize the program (Writer), but that is all I can do with it. Windows XP/SP 2 + all current patches.
