------- Additional comments from tirja...@openoffice.org Fri Nov 5 13:40:56 +0000 2010 ------- Example of the issue: The ability of Calc (ver OOo32m18) to recognize a date format and changing the Cell Format to "Date" is not always accurate. e.g. Entering ring sizes in the French format ##/##-## is incorrectly formatted as DD/MM/YY (Depending on system and/or regional settings). Issue: There should be an easier way to undo the Formatting to apply automatically. It's not necessary to query/prompt the user every time he/she pastes data that is recognized as "Date", BUT in the few cases where the user did not mean to enter a "Date", there should be an 'menu option'/'button'/'icon' (EASILY) available to undo the formatting after has bean applied. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
