With a standard package installation, I installed the Danish dictionary via the
File -> wizards -> add dictionaries tool. Right clicking a wrong and underlined
word takes a long time, and as soon as I type a wrong word, memory usage of
soffice.bin goes from around 40 MB to around 270 mb in a few seconds. Even if I
close Writer again, the memory is still assigned to soffice.bin, and I have to
manually kill the process in order to free the memory.

The problem is solved by deleting all unnecessary dictionary files in the ooo
program folder.

Regular people should not have their system slowed down to a crawl because of
bad memory management in the spell checking engine.
