------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 27 21:14:46 +0000 2008 ------- With a standard package installation, I installed the Danish dictionary via the File -> wizards -> add dictionaries tool. Right clicking a wrong and underlined word takes a long time, and as soon as I type a wrong word, memory usage of soffice.bin goes from around 40 MB to around 270 mb in a few seconds. Even if I close Writer again, the memory is still assigned to soffice.bin, and I have to manually kill the process in order to free the memory. The problem is solved by deleting all unnecessary dictionary files in the ooo program folder.
