As soon as it's labeled an enhancement, it'll never be taken up unless a developer finds it interesting. As a programmer, heavy Excel user, and someone who has made several short-lived attempts to use Calc instead in the past, I know this is makes DataPilot all but useless. Enhancement or defect, it should be higher priority than many "defects". I think of it as a defect because a UI is not supposed to impose constraints on the functionality to which it's an interface.
