Not being able to animate objects on the Master is a big deal when coming from PowerPoint. Impress let's you go through all the motions with objects on the Master but then leaves you hanging. The custom animation you add to an object simply does NOT work. I feel this is a bug. Custom animation options shoudl not function if this is not allowed on Masters. Deactivating the Cutom animation option on Masters would save some frustration but getting them to work would truly solve the problem.
