I've looking for it bug database, without success prior to write this.
Afeter installing OOo 1.9.74, al seems be beeter, at least in appareance,
however, I miss the most used by me on former versions: The application menu in
the quick launcher menu (at the right bottom side of Windows taskbak).
After installing the program and the Spanish Language Pack, the only two options
are "Load quick launcher when system start" and "Stop quick Luncher". 
Nothing like in prior versions of "New Text Document... New SpreadSheet ... or
eve Open an existing document" (sorry for not so exact translations, as I ever
used Spanish versions).
Also missing when double-clicking on that small icon, appeared the "template
dialog window".
