------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 20 12:56:12 -0700 2005 ------- PC, RC3, fully updated XP Pro. Scenario Two tables are linked in relationships. A linked field is then edited in one of the tables. Save is denied with the WARNING: "The column <fieldname> could not be changed. Should the column instead be deleted and the new format appended?" This is misleading and does not give good guidance. I propose: "The field you want to change is linked by a relationship to another table. Please remove the relationship link so that you can make changes to this table. To change relationships, close this warning box, close the table edit window and choose TOOLS/RELATIONSHIPS". Click 'No' to close this box now. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
