Weekend users work with programs and documents. Not with .odt files, or .pdf 
files.

Thus it would be convenient when opening file to check if the file is natively 
supported (.doc, .txt, .html and so on) or not (.pdf, .rpm, .zip). If the 
latter case show a dialog with two choices -- either use default app for the 
file (kpdf, ark, ark: respectively) as a default choice or open it using 
ooffice indeed.
