During storing process there are always two mediums, the source one and the
target one. If the storing happens to the same location ( saving ), the source
medium has to disconnect from the file and free the lock to allow the target
medium get it.

That is no nice solution, the control over the document file should be
transfered without reopening/relocking the file.
