Start StarOffice (the fact that this is as a first time user, with no history of opened documents, may be a critical part of this bug) 3. Press Alt-F to open the file menu, and down arrow to "Recent Documents" 4. Press right arrow to expand the Recent Documents submenu. Your desktop is now hung.
