------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Nov 8 11:06:05 -0800 2005 ------- Font antialiasing works only partially in OpenOffice.org 2.0, at least when the "official" openoffice.org RPMs are installed on a Mandriva Linux 2006.0 for i586. Specifically, all the fonts that are declared as "aliases" of other fonts in the fontconfig files /etc/fonts/font.conf, /etc/fonts/local.conf and /etc/fonts/conf.d/* are correctly recognized, but are not antialiased on display. For instance, Mandriva Linux 2006 declares Palatino to be p052003l.pfb: "URW Palladio L" "Roman" in its /etc/fonts/conf.d/00-mdk-urwfonts.conf. As a matter of fact, when openoffice is run, Palatino is indicated as one of the available fonts. However, Palatino is not displayed properly. Conversely URW Palladio is displayed correctly. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
