------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jan 9 06:06:18 -0800 2006 ------- If OOo crashes such that its crash detection mechanism doesn't trigger or if it is stopped using the task manager (e.g. because it hung), the crash recovery doesn't use the auto-save that is saved to $USER_HOME\Anwendungsdaten\OpenOffice.org$VERSION\user. To reproduce: - Edit a document - save it - make some more edits - wait for auto-save to save the document - kill OOo using task manager or kill (kill -KILL might be necessary, I didn't check this on *nix) - re-open the document - see that the crash recovery restores the document to the manually-saved version, not the auto-saved version N.B.: This might be what #57795 tries to say. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
