openoffice.org-redhat-menus can't install when pgrep command isn't found.

It tested installation in OpenOffice.org 2.0.1 on Vine Linux 3.2.
(Linux distribution in Japan that RedHat Linux became a base)
However, openoffice.org-redhat-menus-2.0.1-1.noarch.rpm
can not be installed
because Vine Linux doesn't have pgrep command.
(OOo2.0.0 could install openoffice.org-redhat-menus.)

pgrep command isn't contained in the "stable" package
procps-2.0.6-5vl6.i386.rpm of Vine Linux.

To use pgrep command on Vine Linux,
there is a way of using procps-3.2.5-0vl3.i386.rpm
by downloading it from VineSeed.

However, use of packages in VineSeed
isn't being recommended in "Project Vine"
because The package of VineSeed is "unstable".

Why did openoffice.org-redhat-menus of 2.0.1
get to use pgrep command?
