------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jan 3 13:14:21 -0800 2007 ------- Currently the browser plugin does a dandy job of displaying ODF format material, but is there a way to have it handle other document types that OOo itself already handles? Specifically, on *nix platforms there is no native handler for popular Microsoft file formats supported by OOo; e.g. .doc, .xls, .ppt, etc. This makes viewing such documents a multi-step operation (download, then open in OOo) which has resulted (here at least) in users grumbling about "you don't have to do all that in Windows." It appears that the file types handled by the plugin are a static list in the binary itself. Is it possible to extend this list to include the other non-OOo -native formats, or split off the file type list as a configurable text file to add these types as desired? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
