Open a blank Writer document, select menu "Insert" -> "Special Characters". Pick U+7180, U+7181 to insert. 3. Select the two characters and press ctrl-C to copy. 4. Open a blank Impress document, insert a text block, select ctrl-V to paste the 2 characters from clipboard to Impress. Impress crashes. However, if you paste the characters first into a Calc document, Impress will not crash. The following sequence works. 1. Close all existing OO instances. 2. Open a new Writer document, select menu "Insert" -> "Special Characters". Pick U+7180, U+7181 to insert. 3. Select the two characters and press ctrl-C to copy. 4. Open a blank Calc document, select ctrl-V to paste the 2 characters from clipboard to Calc. It works. 5. Open a blank Impress document, insert a text block, select ctrl-V to paste the 2 characters from clipboard to Impress.
