I opened a PPT file in OOo 2 Beta, SO7, SO8, and MS Office 97. Only the MSO97
diplayed the file in an acceptable manner. All OOo based products only played
the music for a few bars then stopped. MSO97 played throught the presentation.
Futher, the MSO97 was smooth in all phases of the slideshow and even allowed
clicking for the next slide while a slide was being displayed with instaneous
response. All of the OOo based were jerky, slow to display and respond.

I do not know the origin of the PPT file as it was an attachment (2888 MB) from
a friend who had received it from others in a chain or forwards. It may make a
good test case to use. Send me instructions to forward it to you if you would
like it.
