------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 19 06:28:46 -0700 2005 ------- Was trying to use scanner with draw to turn paper documents into pdf. We have done this with version 1.1.4 with success. I scanned two b/w text pages at 300dpi and one color page at 150dpi, all 8.5 x 11 inches into a single document. The resulting pdf is 466K with OOo 1.1.4 and a whopping 2,659K with OOo 1.9.93. If use OOo 1.9.93 in conjunction with PDF creator (which uses Ghostscript) the resulting file is 368K. OOo 1.1.4 with PDF Creator is 367K.
