When I first saw character styles in the Writer application, I was delighted to
use this also for my slides. Unfortunately, this fantastic feature is missing
from the Presentation application. What's the fundamental difference of a text
box in Writer and a text box in Impress? Why are there two different editing and
rendering engines? Are there, or is only the menu item missing?
