------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 17 10:33:24 -0800 2005 ------- .ppt file created by Impress won't open in Powerpoint To reproduce: 1. Start Impress with blank file 2. Add letter 'a' to slide 3. Use 'Save as' menu item. Set file name to 'test1' and type as 'Microsoft Powerpoint 97/2000/XP (.ppt)'. 4. Select 'Yes' in next dialog 5. Start Powerpoint with blank file 6. In 'File' menu, click 'Open' 7. In 'Open' dialog click on file called 'test1' to highlight it 8. Press 'Open' button Normally that will open the file. However, in this case, Powerpoint presents a dialog that says: "Powerpoint can't open the type of file represented by test1." --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
