------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Dec 10 02:28:51 -0800 2005 ------- While creating a "Impress" template, I didn't find a way to insert a custom background image. I clicked "Format"->"Page", "Background" tab, then I selected in the "Fill" combo box "Bitmap". It is only possible to select an image out of the defaults. There seems to be no way to specify a custom image file. On a related note: same thing with gradients. The colours are predefined. I cannot (for example) take "Gradient 1" and make it go from "red" to "blue".
