In gengal.cxx "gengal.rdb" seems to be only used in the #ifdef
TOO_SIMPLE_BY_HALF branch, which isn't the default branch, nor does stracing the
gengal binary seem to show it being used another way. So do we actually *need*
gengal.rdb except for debugging use or something. Am I right here ?

[EMAIL PROTECTED] program]# du -k gengal.rdb
6892 gengal.rdb
[EMAIL PROTECTED] program]#

Simiarly the gengal script has the soffice.sh script
"# extend the ld_library_path for java: javaldx checks the sofficerc for us"
logic and the OPENOFFICE_MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME stuff, and I don't think it needs all
that. Though I guess in theory a launcher script it still needed for the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH stuff on non rpath using systems.
