------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 31 02:03:18 -0800 2005 ------- A drawing created with OOo was exported to EPSF with TIFF preview. When including that file as graphics into the OOo writer (Staroffice 7 and 8 actually), the file was converted to a bitmap when PDF export was used. For Staroffice 7 the bitmap was a JPEG with visible artefacts, while for Staroffice 8 the bitmap had no artefacts. As a print to Adobe Distiller produced some PDF with the vectors still intact, I guess the PDF export is wrong. I think converting an EPSF image to PDF is really easy and it should be done.
