------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Aug 2 22:13:56 -0700 2005 ------- The trigger script, which runs when the core01 package is installed, has two problems when running an update: 1. It deforms the link in /etc on RH 9 and FC 1 2. It produces error messages on SuSE 9.2 The reason for #1 is the number of instances of *-core01 at the moment the script runs when updating: there are two, so the query returns /opt/openoffice.org-1.9 /opt/opeonffice.org-1.9 which get concatinated leading to a broken symlink. The reason for #2 seems to be the 2>&1 redirection, leading to the RPM lock warning to appear in the ln command line. Unfortunatly I still have no clue why some RPM versions block until they get the database lock while others return with an error code :-(. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
