------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 26 01:13:41 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, This is an issue I posted on OOo forum but as I do not have any answer I enter this issue. I do not have any workaround except installing locally for each user the complete package (I would prefer not to do this). I installed OOo_1.9.122_SolarisSparc with pkgadd command with option -R pkgadd -d /home/eric/tmp/SRC680_m122_native_packed-1_en-US.8941/packages -R /home/eric/softs/local I wanted to install it in different directories than the default ones (/opt/...). The goal is to have a single network installation (/opt is local for me) and to allow many users to point to the same installation directory (/home/eric/softs/local can be accessed by all users from all stations, all running under Solaris 10). For me, it works fine. But for remote users (who see the install dir with NFS automounting), it does not work. They have the following error message : The application cannot be started. The component manager is not available. Regards. Eric Bouyoux. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
