------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 17 23:26:37 -0700 2005 ------- Three attempts to install OOo 2.0 have hung on my P4 Windows PC, all seemingly at the same point, with the progress indicator on the installation wizard at around 75%. The installer was the only application running, and my RAM and disk space exceed minimum requirements by over 100%. All requirements of the readme.txt file in the download were met. No attempt to interrupt the installation was made until over 15 minutes of zero disk activity, and minimal CPU activity had elapsed. Atttempts to cancel the installation generate a confirmation dialog on the first attempt, but no subsequent action once the confirmation dialog closes. Thereafter the installation wizard window can only be closed via Windows Task Manager. Re-booting the computer immediately prior to installation makes no difference. The computer is running Norton Internet Security & Sygate Personal Firewall Pro, and Google Desktop Search.
