------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 27 05:53:40 -0700 2005 ------- The Esperanto spell checking dictionary file, "eo_l3.dic", is defective in Ooo 2.0. It seems that the file has mistakenly been saved using the wrong encoding (probably in several steps), with the result that all non-ASCII characters have been mangled (most are simply missing altogether). As a result Esperanto spell checking fails for many words. The original file was encoded in ISO-8859-3 (Latin 3). A working version of it can be found at "http://www.esperanto.pisem.net/literumilo.html". (Unicode, UTF-8, is a better encoding for Esperanto, but if I'm correctly informed, only 8-bit encodings can be used for spell checking dictionaries in OpenOffice.org. In that case Latin 3 is OK, but only if the file is correctly encoded of course.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
