------- Additional comments from g...@openoffice.org Fri Sep 11 09:32:22 +0000 2009 ------- Please do the following: - start OO from icon on desktop - select Spreadsheet - activate 'TOOL|Protect Document|Sheet' (and not 'TOOL|Protect Document|Document') - double click on 'Sheet1' sheet name - no pop-up for name editing - right click on 'Sheet1' sheet name - no entry in contextual menu for sheet renaming This is not according to documentation (and is a real drawback), page 'Protecting Cells from Changes': 5.Apply the protection options. To protect the cells from being changed / viewed / printed according to your settings in the Format - Cells dialog, choose Tools - Protect Document - Sheet. To protect the structure of the document, for example the count, names, and order of the sheets, from being changed, choose Tools - Protect Document - Document. In the database, I found items 27079 and 27126 that are related. But I am absolutely sure to not have protected the Document. I have protected only the sheet as easily visible from the 'Tools|Protect Document' submenu. NB: moving sheet around is OK, is according to documentation. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
