I am a basic level user who cuts and pastes data updates into a series of spreadsheets that have side by side columns of simple formulas on the various data series. Quite often I will update the data in a column and the formulas in another unreferenced column will change. This happens whether I am using relative or absolute cell addresses. It causes havoc on my spreadsheets, and I do not know what to do about it. Thanks.
