------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 5 07:17:59 -0700 2006 ------- Merging cells is NOT the same as center across selection. It is not at all compatible with Excel's "center across selection". What's worse if you edit a spreadsheet with Calc that someone else created with Excel and it contains "center across selection" formatting, Calc will change it to "merge cells". When the creator tries to open the spreadsheet again in Excel, Calc has screwed up the formatting! This is not what anyone would call compatibility. I would request this bug be reopened and the feature added. Yeah, it's that important, if you want to be compatible with Excel that is. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
