This issue was closed as invalid in bug 25645 and deemed to be the logical behavior. I submit that this could only be logical from a developer's perspective and that not a single average user would agree that the program should ignore the user's command to change the print orientation. In addition, the only way to change the orientation is very difficult to discover and was only found after searching the existing bug reports.
