------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 28 19:49:01 -0700 2005 ------- OOo 2.0 beta crashed mutiple times during a complicated manuouver to recover a lost file from hard copy. Process: 1. Scan pages using Lexmark software into JPG format, 1 file per page. 2. Using ABBYY OCR software, I translated the JPG into an RTF file, which promptly opened in MS Word. (Each RTF file contained a combination of text and images.) 3. Create master document in OOo Writer. 4. Copy text from the RTF file in Word, and images from JPG file in Lexmark photo editor. Steps 3 and 4 caused the problems.
